The lodge, nestled in Jones Canyon was originally built in the early 40's, and  founded as a convent; in fact, the convent owned most of the property in Jones Canyon up until the late 60's. Then, in about 1970, it was purchased by a private party and converted into a school for the handicapped which it remained for around 15 years.

Waterfall Lodge is an approximately 6000 square foot, 8 bedroom facility. Seven of the eight rooms are available to our guests with our guest capacity totaling 37 people. The lodge is constructed almost entirely of red brick with knotty pine finishing throughout. Inside, there are two separate dens, a game room, 3 indoor fireplaces and a large kitchen where you can cook up a hearty breakfast each morning.

On the outside, the lodge is surrounded by covered brick walkways which accent nicely our 2 outdoor red brick fireplaces that are perfect for those large BBQ gatherings or evening cookouts where our guests frequently enjoy fresh caught trout from our spring fed trout ponds conveniently located at the end of our redwood decking extending out from the lodge. Toward the rear of the property, scenic hiking trails lead into Lincoln National Forest, and to the front, picturesque waterfalls cascade down the valley into three crystal-clear pools below.
